DarkSunGame Privacy Terms
These DarkSunGame Privacy Terms are an integral part of the DarkSunGame Game License and Service Agreement and are
jointly entered into by the user, hereinafter referred to as "you", and DarkSunGame.
Unless you have read and accepted all contents of these Privacy Terms, you have no right to use DarkSunGame games
and services. Your use of DarkSunGame games and services will be deemed as your having read and agreed to sign these
Privacy Terms.
If you are a minor under the age of 18, you need to read these Privacy Terms under the supervision of your guardian.
You and your guardian must read them carefully. Please use the games and services provided by DarkSunGame only after
obtaining your guardian's consent to all terms of these Privacy Terms.
Special Notice for Children:
If you are a minor under the age of 14, hereinafter referred to as a "child", please notify your guardian to read
these DarkSunGame Privacy Terms together with you. Please use the games and services provided by DarkSunGame only
after obtaining your guardian's consent to all terms of these Privacy Terms. By clicking to agree to these Privacy
Terms, or by using or continuing to use the games and services provided by DarkSunGame or submitting personal
information, you indicate that you have obtained your guardian's permission and that your guardian also agrees to
these Privacy Terms.
DarkSunGame fully respects users' privacy and information, and will strictly protect your privacy and information.
When you use DarkSunGame games and services, we may collect and use your relevant personal information. Through
these Privacy Terms, we wish to explain the corresponding processing rules and related matters when we collect and
use your personal information, so as to better protect your rights and interests.

I. How We Collect and Use Personal Information
DarkSunGame collects and uses personal information that you actively provide during use of the services or that is
generated because of product and/or service needs, in accordance with laws and regulations and the principles of
legitimacy, lawfulness, and necessity. If we intend to use your personal information for purposes not specified in
these Privacy Terms, or use information collected for a specific purpose for another purpose, we will notify you in
a timely and reasonable manner and obtain your consent again before use.
The types of personal information we collect and use include two categories. The first category is information
necessary for the core business functions of our products and/or services. Such information is required for the
normal operation of the products and/or services, and you must authorize us to collect it. If you refuse to provide
it, you will be unable to normally use our products and/or services. The second category is information that may be
needed for additional business functions. Such information is needed for non-core business functions, and you may
choose whether to authorize us to collect it. If you refuse to provide it, the additional business functions may not
be available or may not achieve the results we want, but your normal use of core business functions will not be
affected.
We need to specifically remind you that, because we have many game products and services and provide different
content to you, core business functions, including the types of your personal information collected by them, may
vary according to the content of each game product or service. The actual game product or service provided shall
prevail. In addition, you understand and agree that we hope to provide you with complete game products and services,
so we will continuously improve our game products and services, including technologies. This means that we may
frequently launch new business functions, which may require collecting new personal information or changing the
purpose or method of using personal information. If a function or game product/service that needs to collect your
personal information is not described in these Privacy Terms, we will separately explain the purpose, content,
method, and scope of the information collection through updates to this policy, page prompts, pop-ups, website
announcements, or other means, provide you with an independent method to choose and agree, and collect such
information after obtaining your express consent.
During your use of DarkSunGame games and services, we generally collect and use your personal information in the
following scenarios:
1. Account registration and identity authentication:
1) When you register and log in to a user account or use DarkSunGame game products and services, you need to
complete a series of registration procedures according to our instructions. During this process, you need to provide
us with the following information: account nickname, user avatar, mobile phone number, and email address. The above
information is collected to mark and identify you as a DarkSunGame user and to save your login information. The
above information is necessary for the core business of registering and logging in to a user account or using
DarkSunGame game products and services. If you choose not to provide it, you may be unable to use DarkSunGame game
products and services.
2) Some of our game products and services support login using accounts from third-party platforms, such as WeChat
accounts or QQ accounts. If you log in using an account from a third-party platform, we will obtain relevant
information under that third-party account according to your authorization, including the third-party account,
username, nickname, avatar, and other information authorized by you, subject to what is displayed on the
authorization page of the third-party account. The above information is collected to provide you with account login
services, protect your account security, and prevent security risks. If you refuse to authorize such information,
you will be unable to use a third-party platform account to log in to our platform, but this will not affect the
normal use of other products and services we provide.
3) According to the requirements of laws, regulations, policies, and relevant competent authorities, you need to
complete real-name registration to use DarkSunGame games and services. We will collect your personal identity
information, including your name and identity document number, after obtaining your consent or when you actively
provide it. If you use a third-party account to log in to DarkSunGame services through association, after your
authorization, we may obtain your personal identity information, including your name and identity document number,
from that third party. The above information is collected to complete real-name authentication. The real-name
identity information you provide will be compared with data sources on authoritative data platforms. If the
comparison results are consistent, authentication will be successful. The above information is personal sensitive
information. Refusal to provide the foregoing information may result in your inability to log in to DarkSunGame
games and services.
4) To satisfy real identity verification for users, we may need you to provide real identity information, including
your name and identity document number, and biometric information, including static or dynamic facial features, to
complete identity authentication. If you do not provide the above information, we will be unable to provide you with
the relevant functions and services.
To achieve the purpose of identity authentication, you agree and authorize us to provide, query, and verify the
foregoing identity information with relevant identity authentication institutions, such as personal credit reporting
institutions and government departments, either by ourselves or by entrusting third parties.
Please note that your identity information, biometric information, and similar information are personal sensitive
information. Please provide them carefully. If you refuse to provide them, you may be unable to obtain relevant
services, but this will not affect the normal use of other functions and services.
2. During use of DarkSunGame games and services:
1) Reading from and writing to external device storage. We need to obtain permission to read from and write to
external device storage. If you use an Android device, the permissions involved may include "read external storage
permission", "read/write SD card content permission", and "modify/delete SD card content permission", the same
below. We obtain the above permissions and information for installation and storage of game products on the device,
reading game saves and files, including necessary game processes and caches, and reading, writing, downloading,
saving, or modifying images, albums, files, crash logs, and other information, to ensure that you can normally log
in to and use our services and maintain the normal and stable operation of basic game functions. If you refuse to
provide the foregoing permissions, you may be unable to use our relevant products and services.
2) Game log information, including login logs, item logs, store purchase logs, event logs, guild logs, upgrade logs,
chat logs, in-game friend records, game match information, and other game log information generated during users'
use of DarkSunGame game products and services. We collect the above information for game operation statistical
analysis, customer service complaint handling, game anti-cheat analysis, and other game experience optimization
analysis, and also to facilitate your viewing of your game history in the game client. If you refuse to provide the
foregoing permissions, you may be unable to use our relevant products and services.
3) Interaction information. When you interact with other players in the game through text, images, voice, or other
means, we may collect and save the above information content you send to filter improper content such as
pornography, violence, political content, insults, and malicious advertisements, so as to purify the game
environment and maintain a healthy online environment. If you refuse to provide the foregoing permissions, you may
be unable to use our relevant products and services. If you wish to interact with other users by voice or take,
upload, or save images, after your authorization and consent, DarkSunGame games will access your microphone, camera,
album, and read/write external device storage permissions. If you refuse to provide the foregoing permissions, you
may be unable to use our relevant products and services, but this will not affect your normal use of other functions
of DarkSunGame games and services, unless otherwise stated in these Privacy Terms. You may also turn off the
foregoing permissions in system settings at any time.
4) Game application information, device information, including unique device identifier, device serial number,
device manufacturer, device name, device type and version, device model, device style, and device MAC address,
network identity information such as IP address, operating system and process information, network environment
information, and game crash records. We collect the above information to verify account information, protect your
game account security, monitor and verify advertising data, and create a fair, healthy, and secure game environment
by combating behavior that damages the fair game environment or interferes with or disrupts the normal operation of
game services, such as detecting piracy, scanning for plug-ins, and preventing cheating. We may use your IP address
to identify the location of the device when it connects to the Internet, for the purpose of implementing specific
event content and displaying your IP location according to relevant regulations. Special reminder: on some older
Android systems, mobile phone manufacturers may bundle permission requests. In such cases, the pop-up through which
we obtain device information may be displayed as whether to allow phone calls and call management. If you refuse to
provide the foregoing permissions or information, you may be unable to use our relevant products and services.
5) Transaction information, including top-up records, consumption records, and other necessary transaction-related
information. When you use consumption functions in certain games, we will collect the foregoing information so that
you can query your transaction records, protect your virtual item security to the greatest extent, and provide
customer service personnel with information to support handling of dispute claims when transaction disputes arise.
Top-up records and consumption records are personal sensitive information. Collecting the above information is
necessary to implement the consumption function of DarkSunGame services. Otherwise, transactions cannot be
completed. If you refuse to provide the foregoing permissions or information, you may be unable to use our relevant
products and services.
6) Clipboard information. When you copy and paste information in the game, we need to access your clipboard locally
on the device and read the relevant information in it. We will only read information related to our services to
complete relevant instructions, and will not store such information. We will not collect other unrelated information
from your clipboard.
3. Customer service:
When you submit a complaint or appeal to DarkSunGame, make an inquiry, or apply for account cancellation, for the
security of your account and the system, we may need you to first provide account information and match it with the
personal information you previously provided to verify your user identity. At the same time, in order to contact
you, help you solve problems, or send gifts, we may also need you to provide your name, mobile phone number, email
address, other contact methods, and personal information. In addition, we will collect communication information
between you and us, including text, images, audio/video, and call records, as well as other necessary information
related to your needs. The foregoing information is personal sensitive information. We collect the foregoing
information to investigate facts and help you solve problems. If you refuse to provide the above information, we may
be unable to promptly provide you with feedback on complaints, appeals, or inquiry results.
To better understand customer needs and optimize services, our customer service personnel may contact you by
telephone to understand product usage, ask for your opinions, or conduct follow-up visits for certain activities. We
may also send you birthday greetings, holiday greetings, or marketing information from time to time by SMS. If you
do not want to receive such calls or SMS messages, you may unsubscribe through the unsubscribe method stated in the
SMS message, and we will no longer conduct telephone follow-up visits or send corresponding SMS content to you.
4. Information push, marketing promotion, and research services
1) To promptly provide you with product and service updates, we will push trending content, event notices, and
progress updates to you through your device's system notifications. You may choose to turn off message push
functions in the device settings. When you use our relevant products or services on your device, to implement the
instant message push function, we integrate message push SDKs.
2) To provide you with more precise marketing promotion services on third-party media platforms, we integrate
third-party advertising and marketing SDKs. We will use your collected personal information, including OAID, IDFA,
IDFV, CAID, IMEI, and mobile phone number, for user profiling. The foregoing user profiling is used only for user
analysis and advertising placement on third-party media platforms. Our game product apps themselves do not contain
advertising placement.
3) When you participate in marketing promotion or questionnaire research activities for our game products, depending
on the type and purpose of the activity and when you actively fill in information, we will collect one or more of
the following: your name, gender, age, occupation, mailing address, contact information, and other information you
actively fill in. The separate explanation provided to you on the activity page or the questionnaire content you
receive shall prevail.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
To improve relevant services, DarkSunGame may use cookies and similar technologies to store and, at certain times,
track users' relevant information. The above use is limited to business, market analysis, or academic purposes such
as estimating traffic volume and collecting statistics on user preferences. Cookies and similar technologies may be
used by third parties. For example, advertising services may require identifiable data or information as evaluation
indicators and data. Such information is used only for analysis, to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of
promotional and marketing activities.
6. According to relevant laws, regulations, and national standards, in the following circumstances, we may collect
and use your relevant personal information without obtaining your authorization or consent:
1) Where it is related to our performance of obligations prescribed by laws and regulations;
2) Where it is directly related to national security, national defense security, or other national interests;
3) Where it is directly related to major public interests such as public security, public health, and public right
to know;
4) Where it is directly related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, or enforcement of judgments;
5) Where it is for the purpose of protecting major lawful rights and interests such as your or another individual's
life, property, or reputation, but it is difficult to obtain the individual's consent;
6) Where the collected personal information has been disclosed to the public by you on your own initiative;
7) Where the personal information is collected from legally and publicly disclosed information, such as lawful news
reports or government information disclosure channels;
8) Where it is necessary for entering into and performing a contract at your request;
9) Where it is necessary for maintaining the secure and stable operation of products or services provided by
DarkSunGame, such as discovering and handling product or service faults;
10) Where it is necessary for carrying out lawful news reporting;
11) Where it is necessary for statistical or academic research conducted in the public interest, and the personal
information contained in the results is de-identified when academic research or description results are provided
externally;
12) Other circumstances prescribed by laws and regulations.
Please understand that the functions and services we provide to you are continuously updated and developed. If a
function or service is not described above but collects your information, we will separately explain the content,
scope, and purpose of information collection to you through page prompts, interaction processes, website
announcements, or other means, in order to obtain your consent.
II. How We Share, Transfer, and Publicly Disclose Your Personal Information
1. Sharing
We attach importance to protecting your personal information. Your personal information is an important basis and
component for us to provide products and/or services to you. For your personal information, we collect and use it
only within the purposes and scope stated in these Privacy Terms or as required by laws and regulations, and keep it
strictly confidential. Generally, we will not share your personal information with any company, organization, or
individual, except in the following circumstances:
1) Your express authorization or consent has been obtained in advance;
2) Your personal information needs to be shared according to applicable laws and regulations, legal procedures,
mandatory government orders, or judicial rulings;
3) To the extent required or permitted by law, it is necessary to provide your personal information to third parties
in order to protect DarkSunGame and its users or the public from harm to their interests, property, or security;
4) Your personal information may be shared among our affiliates. We will share only necessary personal information,
and such sharing is also bound by the stated purposes of these Privacy Terms. If an affiliate wishes to change the
purpose of processing personal information, it will again seek your authorization and consent;
5) To provide you with more complete and higher-quality products and services, some of our services will be provided
by authorized partners. We may share certain personal information of yours with partners in order to provide better
customer service and user experience. We will use the information only for lawful, legitimate, necessary, specific,
and explicit purposes, and will not use it for any other purpose. If you refuse our partners' collection of personal
information necessary for providing services, you may be unable to use the relevant third-party service on our
platform.
Our partners' collection and processing of information are governed by their own privacy terms or relevant
statements, and these Privacy Terms do not apply to them. To protect your information security to the greatest
extent, we recommend that you review the privacy terms of any third-party service before using it. To protect your
lawful rights and interests, if you discover risks in a relevant third-party service, we recommend that you
immediately terminate the relevant operation and contact us promptly.
2. Transfer
We will not transfer your personal information to any company, organization, or individual, except in the following
circumstances:
1) Transfer with express consent: after obtaining your express consent, we will transfer your personal information
to other parties;
2) Provision where required by applicable laws and regulations, legal procedures, or mandatory administrative or
judicial requirements;
3) In the event of merger, acquisition, asset transfer, bankruptcy liquidation, or similar transactions, if transfer
of personal information is involved, we will require the new company or organization holding your personal
information to continue to be bound by these Privacy Terms. Otherwise, we will require that company or organization
to seek your authorization and consent again.
3. Public disclosure
We will publicly disclose your personal information only in the following circumstances:
1) After obtaining your express consent;
2) Disclosure based on law: we may publicly disclose your personal information where required by law, legal
procedures, litigation, or mandatory requirements of competent government authorities.
4. Circumstances where your prior consent is not required
According to relevant laws, regulations, and national standards, in the following circumstances, we may share,
transfer, or publicly disclose personal information without obtaining your prior authorization or consent:
1) Where it is related to our performance of obligations prescribed by laws and regulations;
2) Where it is directly related to national security or national defense security;
3) Where it is directly related to public security, public health, or major public interests;
4) Where it is directly related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, or enforcement of judgments;
5) Where it is for the purpose of protecting major lawful rights and interests such as the life or property of a
personal information subject or another individual, but it is difficult to obtain the individual's consent;
6) Personal information disclosed to the public by the personal information subject on the subject's own initiative;
7) Personal information collected from legally and publicly disclosed information, such as lawful news reports or
government information disclosure channels.
According to law, sharing, transfer, or public disclosure of personal information that has been de-identified, where
the data recipient is unable to restore and re-identify the information subject, is not considered external sharing,
transfer, or public disclosure of personal information. Storage and processing of such data will not require
separate notification to you or your consent.
III. How We Store and Protect Your Personal Information
1. Information storage
1) Storage location: in accordance with laws and regulations, we will store the personal information about you that
we collect only within the territory of the People's Republic of China. At present, we do not have scenarios
involving cross-border storage of your personal information or provision of personal information overseas. If
cross-border data transfer is indeed necessary, we will separately and expressly inform you, including the purpose
of data export, recipient, method and scope of use, content of use, security protection measures, and security
risks, and obtain your authorization and consent. We will ensure that the data recipient has sufficient data
protection capability to protect your personal information.
2) Storage period: we retain your personal information for the shortest period necessary to satisfy the purposes of
providing products and services to you. For example, when you use our registration and membership functions, we need
to collect your mobile phone number, and after you provide it and during your use of that function, we need to
continuously store your mobile phone number to normally provide that function to you and protect your account and
system security. In addition, we may retain your relevant information for the necessary period prescribed by
relevant laws. For example, the E-Commerce Law provides that commodity and service information and transaction
information shall be retained for no less than three years from the date of completion of the transaction.
3) After the above storage period is exceeded, we will delete or anonymize, or de-identify, your personal
information.
2. Information protection
1) The security of your personal information is critical to us. We will strictly comply with relevant laws and
regulations, take reasonable and feasible measures recognized in the industry, and protect your personal
information. We will prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, use, and modification of information, and avoid damage
to or loss of information.
2) When DarkSunGame requires users to provide information related to their personal identity, it shall publicly
disclose its Privacy Terms to users in advance in a clear and obvious manner and take necessary measures to protect
user information.
3) Except as expressly agreed in these Privacy Terms, without user permission, DarkSunGame may not provide,
disclose, or share personal identity information in user registration data, such as names, personal valid identity
document numbers, contact information, and home addresses, to any third party, except in the following
circumstances: the user or the user's guardian authorizes DarkSunGame to disclose it; relevant laws, regulations, or
mandatory provisions require DarkSunGame to disclose it; judicial or administrative authorities require DarkSunGame
to provide it based on statutory procedures; DarkSunGame initiates litigation or arbitration against the user to
protect its own lawful rights and interests; or DarkSunGame provides the user's personal identity information upon a
lawful request from the user's guardian.
3. Use and safekeeping of user accounts
1) To ensure user account security, DarkSunGame has the right to review whether the identity information provided by
users during registration is true and valid, and shall actively take reasonable technical and management measures to
protect the security and validity of user accounts. Users have the obligation to properly keep their accounts and
passwords and to use their accounts and passwords correctly and securely. If either party fails to perform the above
obligations and causes loss of account or password, account theft, or other circumstances that damage the civil
rights of users or others, that party shall bear legal liability.
2) Users legally enjoy rights and assume responsibilities for actions generated by the accounts they hold after
login.
3) If a user discovers that the user's account or password has been illegally used by another person or is being
used abnormally, the user shall promptly notify DarkSunGame according to the handling method announced by
DarkSunGame, and has the right to notify DarkSunGame to take measures to suspend login and use of that account.
4) When DarkSunGame takes measures to suspend login and use of a user account according to the user's notice, it
shall require the user to provide and verify personal valid identity information consistent with the registered
identity information.
5) If DarkSunGame verifies that the personal valid identity information provided by the user is consistent with the
registered identity information, DarkSunGame shall promptly take measures to suspend login and use of the user
account.
6) If the user does not provide the user's personal valid identity document, or the personal valid identity document
provided by the user is inconsistent with the registered identity information, DarkSunGame has the right to reject
the user's above request.
7) When a user provides DarkSunGame with personal valid identity information consistent with the registered identity
information in order to protect the user's lawful rights and interests, DarkSunGame shall provide the user with
necessary assistance and support, such as proof of account registrant and original registration information, and
provide relevant evidentiary information and materials to relevant administrative and judicial authorities as
needed.
IV. Your Rights to Manage Personal Information
We understand your concern about personal information and make every effort to ensure your rights to query, copy,
correct, delete, and withdraw authorization for your personal information, so that you have full ability to protect
your privacy and security. Your rights include:
1. You have the right to query and copy your personal information
You may query or copy the relevant personal information you have provided to us according to the relevant
instructions or settings of the products and services we provide. This includes:
1) Account information: you may log in to your profile page at any time through relevant in-game pages to access or
copy your profile information in the corresponding game product, including your avatar and nickname;
2) Other information: if you encounter operational problems during access and need to obtain other personal
information that cannot be obtained through the foregoing methods, you may contact us through the methods provided
in these Privacy Terms.
2. You have the right to correct your personal information
When you discover that the personal information you provided to us contains registration errors, is incomplete, or
has been updated, you may contact us through the methods provided in these Privacy Terms and submit a correction
request.
1) For some of your personal information, such as avatar and nickname, we provide operation settings on relevant
function pages in the game, and you may directly correct or modify it.
2) For difficulties you encounter when exercising the above rights, or where we may currently be unable to provide
online self-service correction/modification services for other information, you may contact us through the methods
provided in these Privacy Terms and request that we correct or modify your data. After verifying your identity, and
where the correction/modification does not affect the objectivity and accuracy of the information, we may correct or
modify erroneous or incomplete information, unless otherwise provided by laws and regulations. However, for security
and identity identification reasons, you cannot modify the real-name registration information, including name and
identity document number, submitted during registration.
3. You have the right to delete your personal information
1) For some of your personal information, you may contact us through the methods provided in these Privacy Terms to
submit a deletion request. After the personal information deletion request is approved, we will delete or anonymize
such information, unless otherwise provided by laws and regulations.
2) When any of the following occurs, you may directly request that we delete your personal information, except where
it has been anonymized or otherwise provided by laws and regulations:
a) When our processing of personal information violates laws and regulations;
b) When we collect or use your personal information without obtaining your consent;
c) When our processing of personal information violates our agreement with you;
d) When you cancel your user account;
e) When we terminate services and operations.
4. You have the right to withdraw your authorization for personal information and permissions
As stated above, some functions of the game products and services we provide require relevant permissions for your
device, including album, camera, microphone, and others, subject to the functions actually obtained by the product.
You may withdraw or stop continuing authorization for such permissions at any time after authorization. You need to
understand that after you withdraw authorization, we will be unable to continue providing you with the specific
functions and/or services corresponding to the withdrawn authorization. However, your decision to withdraw
authorization will not affect personal information processing previously carried out based on your authorization.
5. You have the right to cancel your account
You may contact us to apply for cancellation of your account. After you cancel your account, you will no longer be
able to log in to and use DarkSunGame game products and services with that account. All rights and interests
generated but not fully consumed during the use of DarkSunGame game products and services under that account, as
well as all future overdue interests and other rights and interests, will be cleared. Content, information, data,
records, and similar items under that account will be deleted or anonymized, except where otherwise provided by laws
and regulations or otherwise required by regulatory authorities. For example, according to the Cybersecurity Law of
the People's Republic of China, your network operation logs will be retained for at least six months. After user
account cancellation is completed, it cannot be restored.
V. Protection of Minors
1. We attach great importance to the information security and information protection of minors. We encourage parents
or other guardians, hereinafter referred to as "guardians", to guide minors in using our services.
2. DarkSunGame implements a real-name registration system for online game user accounts, fully connects to the
real-name authentication system of the National Press and Publication Administration, and protects minors' lawful
rights and interests by enabling the anti-addiction system. We will determine whether the real-name information of
the relevant account belongs to a minor through verification of real-name identity information and other
information, and then decide whether to include that account in the anti-addiction system. In addition, we will
collect information such as your login time and game duration, and guide minors to play games reasonably by
automatically intervening and restricting minors' game time at the system level and enabling mandatory offline
functions.
3. For personal information of minors collected with guardian consent, we will use or publicly disclose such
information only where permitted by law, expressly consented to by the guardian, or necessary to protect minors.
4. If you are the legal guardian of a minor, please pay attention to whether the minor under your guardianship uses
DarkSunGame products and services after obtaining your authorization and consent. If a guardian expressly refuses
our provision of services to a minor in the above manner, we will, in accordance with law, promptly delete the
relevant personal information of the minor that we have collected, stored, and used, and stop providing services to
that minor.
VI. Suspension and Termination of Services
1. If a user publishes illegal information, seriously violates social morality, or engages in other acts that
violate prohibitive provisions of law, DarkSunGame has the right to immediately terminate the provision of services
to the user.
2. If a user engages in improper conduct while receiving DarkSunGame services, DarkSunGame has the right to
terminate the provision of services to the user.
3. If a user provides false registered identity information or engages in conduct that violates this Agreement,
DarkSunGame has the right to suspend all or part of the services provided to the user. When DarkSunGame takes
suspension measures, it shall notify the user and inform the user of the suspension period. When the suspension
period expires, DarkSunGame will promptly restore services to the user.
VII. Updates and Access to These Privacy Terms
1. To provide you with better services, we will update the terms of these Privacy Terms according to product updates
and relevant requirements of laws and regulations. Such updates constitute part of these Privacy Terms. Without your
express consent, we will not reduce the rights you should enjoy under these Privacy Terms. If such updates cause a
substantial reduction or major change to your rights under these Privacy Terms, we will notify you by providing a
prompt in a prominent position, sending you a push message, or by other means. If you continue to use our services,
you indicate that you have fully read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the revised Privacy Terms.
2. Major changes include but are not limited to:
1) Major changes in our service model, such as the purpose of processing personal information, the types of personal
information processed, and the methods of using personal information;
2) Major changes in our ownership structure, organizational structure, or similar matters, such as owner changes
caused by business adjustments, bankruptcy, mergers and acquisitions, or similar events;

4) Major changes in your rights to participate in personal information processing and the methods for exercising

VIII. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
1. The formation, performance, interpretation, and dispute resolution of these DarkSunGame Game Privacy Terms shall
be governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, excluding the application of all conflict-of-law rules.
2. If any dispute arises between the parties regarding the content or performance of these DarkSunGame Game Privacy
Terms, the parties shall resolve it through friendly consultation.
3. The headings of all terms of this Agreement are for reading convenience only, have no actual meaning in
themselves, and may not be used as a basis for interpreting the meaning of this Agreement.
4. If any term of this Agreement is partially invalid for any reason, the remaining terms shall remain valid and
binding on all parties.

may be unable to respond to your request:
1) Where it is related to national security or national defense security;
2) Where it is related to public security, public health, or major public interests;
3) Where it is related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, or similar matters;

X. Miscellaneous
Unless otherwise agreed, terms used in these Privacy Terms usually have only the following definitions. If these
Privacy Terms do not specifically explain a relevant term, the meaning of that term shall be consistent with the
User Agreement:
1. Personal information, with reference to GB/T 35273-2020 Information Security Technology - Personal Information
Security Specification: refers to all kinds of information recorded electronically or otherwise that can identify a
specific natural person's identity or reflect a specific natural person's activities, either alone or in combination
with other information. Examples of personal information include personal basic information, including personal
name, date of birth, gender, address, personal mobile phone number, and email address; personal identity
information, including identity document number; personal biometric information, including fingerprints and facial
features; network identity information, including system account, password, IP address, and personal digital
certificate; personal property information, including bank account, password, transaction and consumption records,
virtual currency, virtual transactions, redemption codes, and other virtual property information; address book;
personal online records, including website browsing records, software use records, and list of software/apps in use;
personal commonly used device information, including hardware serial number, hardware model, device MAC address,
operating system type, software list, and unique device identifier; and personal location information, including
precise location information and latitude/longitude. The types of personal information we actually collect are
subject to the descriptions in these Privacy Terms.
2. Personal sensitive information, with reference to GB/T 35273-2020 Information Security Technology - Personal
Information Security Specification: refers to personal information that, once leaked, illegally provided, or abused,
may endanger personal and property safety or may easily lead to damage to personal reputation, physical and mental
health, or discriminatory treatment. Examples of personal sensitive information include your personal property
information, personal identity information, personal biometric information, address book information, friend list,
group list, precise location information, and personal information of children under the age of 14, inclusive. The
types of personal sensitive information we actually collect are subject to the descriptions in these Privacy Terms.
3. Device: refers to a device that can be used to access or use DarkSunGame games and services, such as a tablet
computer or smartphone.
4. Unique device identifier: refers to a string of characters programmed into a device by the device manufacturer,
which can be used to uniquely identify the corresponding device, such as IMEI, Android ID, IDFA, OpenUDID, GUID, SIM
card, IMSI information, and similar information.
5. IP address: every device connected to the Internet is assigned a number called an Internet Protocol (IP) address.
These numbers are usually assigned based on geographic regions.
6. Cookie: a cookie is a small file containing a string of characters that is sent to and stored on your computer,
mobile device, or other device, usually encrypted, when you log in to and use a website or other online content.
Cookie-like technologies are other technologies that can be used for purposes similar to cookies, such as Web
Beacon, Proxy, and embedded scripts.
